interview breakdown.
you know how sometimes you get stressed about things, and so you overcompensate? We're talking about arriving in Harvard Square an hour before you're interview, a thing that I did today. I just got called back for another interview at Harvard, this time with the director of the program... I really wasn't expecting to hear from them again outside of a little note that read "we've found someone better for the job than you".
um, hope for me? -

living at home, it's remarkable how many people, upon my answering the phone, got terribly confused because they thought I was my mother... apparently we answer the phone in rather the same cheerful manner ( Read more... ) -

after much debate, the judges have decided to award the winning title to Dan's Pinky. The battle itself, now referred to as "Wine Glass VS Dan's Finger: Deathly Dishwashing" left a shattered wineglass partway in Dan's Pinky. It was removed and while Dan's Pinky is, while in pain, still mostly functional, the judges decided the wine glass was not ( Read more... ) -

so, the interview went... okay. Some good, some bad, nothing truly ugly. Various affairs of home are calling me to postpone amherst attack until monday - right now, however, I need a nap. I was up at seven this morning! That ain't healthy! -
whew.
Making annotated mix cds is exhausting, but if they're appreciated even half as much as the effort I put into the endeavour, it'll be entirely worthwhile. So, want to read the track list?
