T-Told ya chemistry was good for SOMETHING!

I saw a girl on campus today sporting a T-shirt with the following slogan:

"Go Huskies!
Go for the Au!"

Being the chem nerd that I am, I immediately realized that "Au" is the chemical symbol for Gold, and smiled at the pun.

The Question is: I think that the T-shirt is pretty cool. Does that make me a geek? And if so, is that so WRONG? :\

I'm against team spirit, but for the use of chemical symbols in things. My friends and I have text conversations that consist of puns based on chemical symbols.

Sorry about that. Right after I hung up with your answering machine, I checked my "minutes left" status and found out that I had already gone 15 minutes overboard. So, until May 16th, I am on a strict "after 9pm and weekends only" diet. :(
