You get a parent like that every year. Seriously, why can't they just be responsible for their kids? Is this such a novel idea that only you and I get it? Providing for a child includes being INVOLVED (ACTIVELY and DAILY) in their EDUCATION! Bah! Where is she?! Let me at her!

You should have to pass a test to have a pet like a dog. Or to have kids. There was a person next to our family's auto repair shop that treated their dog the same way. He was always loose and running around... on a 5-lane main road. Safe, I know. Gordy (my step-dad) would remind the owner time and time again and rechain the dog up. We fed him and gave him water. Finally, one night when Gordy had to work late, he had enough of it, and after chasing the dog into traffic for the millionth time, he brought it home with him. Now I'm not saying this is right, but we kept the dog for about a week while trying to find it a good home. When we couldn't, we returned him to the house. Sadly. Not to give you any ideas or anything.
