You may have changed since the last time we talked but I never thought of you as a pessimistic person. You had fears and worries yes, but your optimisim (sp?) always either pushed them out of sight for the time being or somehow you were able to believe that things would end up alright in the end like they do most of the time. I don't think it's foolish to believe that you've met all the people you need in your life because you are the type of person who is still open to meeting new people all the time. If you were stuck and never was willing to open to new people then yes I'd say it was a bad thing, though I think there are plenty of people who believe that and are fine. It's your life you know? I'm always going back and forth in my faith in humanity because I am constantly seeing both good and bad in people. You just should be open to all things I think.

I daresay it's somewhat close minded, I kind of wish you could see the potential and love in all people. It's a very big world, bigger than most can possibly fathom.

Good art can come out of torment though, I suppose.

Well don't lose all hope, because most folk are just like you and it's all about communication and persuasion - I mean if you're interested in getting everybody to think like you. That's the problem, too many people feel like they need everybody else to think the same way as them. Either other folks will be open-minded and listen to you and try to understand, or they won't. It's an arrogance as a product of ignorance, and visa versa, like coke:

A man buys coke to work long hours,
he works long hours to make more money,
so that he can buy more coke.

It's all a cycle of insanity.

There's been a bottle of coconut rum sitting on my counter for weeks. Not sure why.
