Confined now, really. New album in the works and it takes me over. The initial joy you have at even receiving a chance to keep on making them is gone, replaced with the long days of making it work. this is what we call an extended break.

Closing my eyes I drift. I float and I fall and I'm everything. You're the place where I bleed onto paper. You're the parts of me I thought I had lost. I thought pieces of time had stolen certain qualities from me, and I remembered that you always knew how to make me feel whole.

When you live in a city covered in smoke like this, you begin to forget there's a world beyond it. In the confines of one apartment things seem inclined toward cyclical change. It's you and I, over and over. We're tripping and spinning and we're falling but the constant is you.

That will never change.
