isn't it odd the affect one single piece of wood has on a whole family's life?

My Father's mother... my grandmother

is deceased.... she left behind one single heirloom

a cane... a classic, brown wood, glossy,

something that means SO much to my family,

she lived in New Zealand, a classy woman,

strict but hilarious,  and left my dad her beloved
