hottest females in the 2009-2010 tv season!
So my hottest girls list tends to change a lot more than my guys list each year. But one thing I noticed as I was making my list for the fourth time in a row was that though they are different actresses, the girls on the list are pretty reminiscent of girls from the years past. Here, let me show you!
5. Beth Riesgraf - Parker (Leverage)
Reminds me of: All my past #5 girls. Blonde.
So I’ve really gotten into Leverage lately, and at first I didn’t like Beth’s character of Parker because I thought she was trying too hard to be weird and kooky, but now I’ve grown to like her. Parker doesn’t smile a whole lot on the show because she’s socially inept or something and only seems to be happy when she’s stealing stuff or doing bad things. But, during my pic search, I actually found Beth looks even nicer when she’s smiling and looking friendly.
Another interesting fact: Beth had a child with Jason Lee who played the tv husband of former hotgirl entry, Jamie Pressly!
4. Eliza Dushku - Echo (Dollhouse)
Reminds me of: Shannyn Sossamon, Rashida Jones; actresses I’ve always kind of liked but disappeared for a little while then reappeared on tv
I dunno. It’s Eliza Dushku. Do you not see her rockin that proton pack?
3. Bridget Regan - Kahlan Amnell (Legend of the Seeker)
Reminds me of: She totally looks like Evangeline Lilly
It’s kind of crazy how much Bridget looks like Evangeline. But the difference between the two is I actually like her character. Normally I wouldn’t watch a show like Legend of the Seeker (I never watched Xena or Hercules or any of those other random shows on during the afternoon on a weekend) but thanks to boredom and hulu, I watched a couple of episodes. I don’t think this pic really does her justice because she looks better in motion. On her show, show she’s all like regal yet kicks ass. It’s kinda cool.
2. Alison Brie - Annie Edison (Community)
Karen Gillan - Amy Pond (Doctor Who)
Reminds me of: Alison: funny gals, Becki Newton & Dilshad Vadsaria; Karen: ginger, Kate Walsh
So I cheated and put 2 girls in this spot. But I figure these 2 girls are young/play young girls on their show, so their combined ages probably make them more age-appropriate. Actually, not really but whatever, this is my list. Karen’s Scottish so her Scottish accent automatically increases her hot factor. Alison is funny both in character and in real life so that automatically increases her hot factor.
1. Olivia Wilde - Dr Remy ‘Thirteen’ Hadley (House)
Reminds me of: Olivia Wilde!
Yay! Welcome back, Olivia! To be honest, I don’t feel strongly about the ordering of my list this year except for Olivia being #1. It’s kind of amazing that not only is she a repeat, but she’s a repeat at #1. I think it helps that I’m making this list way later so I’ve forgotten how annoying her character may have been on House. It also helps that while I was looking for pics, I came across her website, wildethings.org (cute name) and I just like how she down to earth she seems. And she’s a humanitarian. And she married a prince. And the geek in me is excited about Tron. And she can look hot in pics.
Gone/Honorable Mentions
I combined the Gone/Honorable Mentions section because I actually still like the girls from my previous list, but for one reason or another, they just didn’t cut it this year.
Cobie Smulders
I didn’t like where her character went this season on How I Met Your Mother. It was like she fell in love and became less independent. Plus I got frustrated when I couldn’t find any good recent pics of her.
Dilshad Vadsaria
Hmm yeah, basically the same reason as Cobie. Direction of character/no good recent pics.
Rashida Jones
Her character on PRex is okay, but she gets kind of lost amidst all the other characters.
Becki Newton
idk. I barely remember Amanda/Ugly Betty by now.
Billie Piper/Katee Sackhoff
meh. I stopped watching Billie's show and BSG went off the air and Katee's character on 24 was annoying because she was not Starbuck.
