I can't find my mailbox key. I haven't gotten the mail since Tuesday. I had to stay over at Jane's house so I could drive her to the train Wed morning and I got the mail before I went, dropping the key in my bag with the mail. Now I can't find it. Someone tied into knots the fringe at one end of my beautiful new throw. I have decided that the cats hired some mice to come and tie all these knots with their tiny little paws. I went out to local version of the Kwik-E-Mart to pick up coffee and a breakfast sandwich. When I got home, the entire 20 ounce coffee cup was empty. The bottom had broken and leaked into the cupholder. Except there was not 20 oz of coffee in the cupholder. Which means most of it leaked inside the center console. I just wrote out my first mortgage payment. This was stressful because:
(a) It's a big number.
(b) I was writing it on my very last check and was afraid I'd make a mistake. (I have ordered new checks with my new address.)
(c) I had to look up the current postage and find out if my stamps, which have no amount on them, are for the current postage ( Read more... )
