Love your point of view and the comparisoin on past/present with the emphasis on how Muguruma doesn't deserve such handling. Judgement. Scrutiny. Distance.

Absolutely! Recently I tried my hand at a 'first encounter since the last 100 years ago' but that is just my own wishful thinking (I tried to be as realistic as possible, even employed modern technology like internet lol) but in the end Kubo is the man and we writers can just hope that our ideas won't be such a long shot past the end result. But yeah, that is one thing I am really, really curious about; how he will pull that meeting off.

Another thing I can't wait for is Kisuke's bankai. :)

Ah, RL hit... and then I got caught up in reading ByaRen fanfic in Chinese which basically killed most of my time... sigh.. was obsessed for a fortnight, and while the fog has lifted, am still a little vague... And currently thinking over a couple of fics I want to work on... *whispers* want to write a lemon... and an AU...

Did my brain go totally off, or did you not include Kensei in your characters on this fic-- not that it wasn't obvious *grin* I figured it was one of your "guess who Shuu is thinking of" but I just knew it had to be Kensei! *grin* Like the strength Shuu shows and the resolution and the admiration :-0 He was great in the latest manga fic, but tending a little too much towards darker emotions for me : -0 This is a great balance to my image of Shuuhei!

I didn't include him, you're right. I haven't been doing that for my 'song' fics...except for Zaraki's, because I didn't think people would understand he was talking about Matsumoto. I was initially labeling them with both characters, but then felt weird about that because all these song fics are about the one character just thinking of the other one. I might go back and add pairings in parantheses because they probably aren't as obvious as this one. XD

Yeah...Shuu was making me worry over his pretty little head in the last chapter...but then Ikkaku's situation took over and I haven't spared him much thought. Poor Shuu.

I understand that RL thing...I don't think I've had more than an hour a day to myself in the last couple of weeks. And when I do...I write. :D But not as much as I want to. :(
