At 4:30 today, I was standing outside of the Convocation Hall before the Faculty Meeting that had me as a speaker. I was the first on the agenda so, after the Joint Meeting of the College of Arts and Sciences and the School of Theology, I made my way up to the front. This made me feel really good. A little over a week ago, Erle e-mailed me a congratulations about getting reelected to Honor Council. I e-mailed him back a thank you and mentioned possibly running for Chair. He responded with encouragement and a statement about how it's a big deal to even be considered as a junior. When I checked my mail, I saw an envelope that I guessed was an invitiation from one of my sorority sisters. I opened it up and was thoroughly confused by the list of 7 guys' names I hardly know until I finally saw Casey Cook. It made me feel warm and fuzzy.

I WON HONOR COUNCIL REELECTION! This time it's a two-year term so I'll remain on the Council for both junior and senior year.

On top of that, I'M STILL THE ONLY FEMALE! We'll see if that lasts through freshman elections, but traditionally freshmen elect males for whatever reason.
