Good news: prelims are over for the semester.
Bad news: I have to do really well on my finals...I slumped a lot.
Good news: I have two weeks to rest and not take or study for prelims. :-)

So I've been really stressed the last couple of days and it's like noone seems to understand it. Most people are choosing the option of blowing up in my face because they know I'm vulnerable. Thursday was the worst....I almost ended up in tears in the middle of Upson computer lab, but luckily I've gotten pretty good at controlling my tears. Somehow ( Read more... )

So I was figuring out my schedule for next year and it actually really worries me...like if it doesn't fit, I might not be able to graduate on time!

Fall 2009:

• MAE 4300
• MAE 4272
• MAE 4020 + MAE 4291 (maybe)
• MAE 4900
• Either MAE 4580, or MATH 3320

So my first round of prelims went really well. I was at the mean or a little below for Fluids and above the mean for Systems and way above for Heat Transfer. So it made me really happy. I'm really dreading my second round of prelims, because I have a lot to live up to, but it is kind of motivational so it is nice. It's also really nice to go away ( Read more... )

All in all, a very good week...

• managed to do decently on my 326 prelim...not sure what the mean was but I pulled an 81% which has to mean something
• got housing for next year in Becker (downside is that I'm living with sophomores again but they seem pretty cool..).
• had a big breakthrough in my research!! :-) - single object with multiple densities ( Read more... )

So I did room selection for next semester/year. Becker, here I come! Finally a new dorm. I love how I go from old to new (Balch, JAM and now Becker).

I'm really excited....

In other news, this is the happiest/most contented I've felt all semester.
