On January 9th, my boyfriend and I found out I was pregant. We were filled with such mixed emotions, we are planning a future, but he's still a full-time college student. It was hard for awhile. I blamed him and he didn't know how to deal with it. And I delt with some depression after the fact. However, overall making a life changing decision together brought us closer together and we have become engaged. Everyone told me that if I had the abortion, we wouldn't stay together. But we have and are better for it, for some reason. I hope that you guys can deal with it together and come out stronger too.

people say that to make you want to fight more for the relationship...they know it will work ut something as big as an abortion can knock it back so saying something that is meant to be a thing for you to prove them wrong about it. therefore they were right in the first place... psychology babble.

He and I were engaged when I had my abortion... now we have been married for almost six years and have a three-year-old son. I know I can always rely on him, and that he respects me and my choices.

Serious Question jennagardner2 December 26 2007, 17:52:36 UTC
I am currently pregnant and I am also going to be taking the RU-486 abortion pill. I was wondering was it painful, what happenend, was there anything you didn't expect? The only reason I am asking is because I am scared to take it with all the media attention about how bad it is for you and you can get sick and possibly die. I am all for pro-choice and feel like right now is not the best time for me. Please let me know thanks.

I took it with no serious complications afterwards. I had some irregular periods after but felt it was less invasive then the surgical procedure. It's a scary and tough time so it's natural to be scared. Good luck with everything!
