hold these iridescent dreams up to the light
see how the lies shine through
the memories seem to fade away
and the innocence envellops the thoughtprocess

glistening in the snow
i somehow realize that i'm not alone
there's this funny feeling
someone watching me all the time
maybe it's the thought of my life ending
maybe i'm being taken away
by my guardian angel

i never knew anything could be so gracious
so lovely in it's presence
the harmony of peace
intertwines every word that is spoken
the scent of the love
fills my mind
as the sweetest thing ever known to man
i never knew this could be so great
it's just a song

and told me that this was it
he had figured what made me smile
and now that he had
he would make me his
and he would make me smile every minute
of everyday

i'll cry a tear or two
but i'm sure what good it'll do
i've lost you forever and ever
but, you did tell me to not say never

something makes me come back everyday
something makes me smile
he takes my hand
tells me that he's close to all of this
close to understanding just why we are all so crazy
someday maybe i'll be the one to find out
just why the sun comes up
or maybe
why why we smile

flitter
flutter
fly
this is something i will never let die
