I'm sad we won't really be celebrating outside the house this year. Our neighbors actually had a huge party which made me super uncomfortable just b/c I could see all the cars and people mingling close together - and the kids even tried trick or treating at our place. I didn't even buy any candy, given that Trick or Treating had been cancelled. But

I watched a bunch of scary movies as well. I love watching horror movies in general, but especially during October.

October is a perfect month for scary movies! Winter/cold weather always puts me in the mood for horror.

They probably didn't mask either. I'm not super uncomfortable with gatherings if people mask and can space out. But a lot of people don't bother with either.

Colette was so convincing in her grief at the loss of her child that one of my dogs started crying & I had to lay on the floor and hug her. Hereditary is a very effective movie, even if not very fun.

Yeah, the guy got the show offer because of the podcast. I enjoy the show, but as it's mostly a rehash of the podcast, I'm just casually watching when I want some background.

Oh, I can see that. That part was so visceral!

I did not know that! But that makes sense because I've heard some repeats. I didn't like how they changed the format so much in s2 of the TV show.
