Still feeling icky blah about food and what to do about it.

But.. I got my ass on the treadmill today. I did 2.36 miles in 32 minutes (down from what would normally be about 2.6 miles in that time).. about a 13:32 pace. I guess when I go outside my pace is a lot slower, but I didn't do any elevation when I was running. I took 2 walking breaks during ( Read more... )

lol that's an interesting job.
I found that amazon.com sells them really cheap. I doubt I'll be buying anymore soon but if so, I'll check both your boyfriend and Amazon out to see which is a better deal.

How'd the running go?
I did a lot of exercise today. Ahh.

That's good. What mileage are you doing now? Still alternating running/walking or just running?

Bugger about the new vibe!
Sushi! Yum! I had some last Friday, gave me and my little girl (she had a bacon and egg pie) to have a picnic on a bench, at the top of a hill overlooking the river.. nice..
Go you with the exercise!! I don't do any and I so should.. *bad DFL*

that sounds lovely.
I trained for about 9 weeks on the "Couch to 5k" program. went from running 1 minute segments to running for a full 5k. Ran a race and all. The last two weeks I had totally slacked off. So I'm glad I ran today, cause I worked hard to build endurance.

The biking was just a happy coincidence. Now my crotch hurts from that bike seat and my legs are very very tired. It also zapped my energy and prevented me from getting schoolwork done. Oh well.

I think its great that you have committed yourself to lose weight and yes its damn hard! Craving for the yummy bad food will always be there. I know, I'm trying to lose weight myself. I'm not on a strict diet, I just make sure I make good food choices (most of the times believe me I have my days when I eat junk still). Since the start of the year I have managed to lose about 13 kgs. I weigh myself once a month to track my progress as much as it kills me coz I wanna know ALL the time. I do alot of walking, mainly down to the shops with my son in the pram and that in itself can be quite a work out. (Pushing 13 kg little monster up a hill, OMG you feel it in your legs!)
So hun, have faith in yourself you sound like your doing well. Everyone needs a bit of chocolate once and a while!
