This, I honestly hope something like this happens to me during this summer.

The upshot of this 9th circuit case is that a computer can practice law, well, actually it can't, since it doesn't have a license.  Got to keep that bar exam on paper.

Or a city council who wants to make it easier for brothels to get bank loans?

Or how about the brothels taking a suit to the dutch supreme court?

I know people think I'm a bit nuts when it comes to urban design, I know the Europeans are, but I think this Dutch idea has possibilities.  The concept has been labeled Woonerven, but it basically boils down to getting rid of as many of the divisions between streets and the sidewalks.  By mixing all the traffic up, drivers slow down and pedestrians ( Read more... )
