Are you ever coming to New England?

it's at the top of the heap, boston specifically, but we're open to other places, notably because we need to organize a mini-tour of sorts to make it worthwhile, financially and in terms of exposure. where are you, exactly? we're charming house guests! *wink, wink* we'll even sleep together, if we have to.

Boston! Boston! Boston! I'm not sure how much space I'll have next year... but if you need a corner to sleep in, come find me.

Fun!!! I just think he's awesome. I'm dyin' to hear you kids play a show too. A trip to the big apple in your future???? Perhaps a sideline to NJ? You have a crash pad near Princeton if you want it... though it's not the most convenient to NY, it is free :)

oh jj, thank you, we'd be delighted to stay with you (free is good) and yes, a trip to the big apple is right up there with boston! ideally at the same time and with another city thrown in as well, maybe philly?

another reality is that we really need to hook up with an established act in each of these places to make a go of it. or a guest spot on a showcase bill, something like sxip's hour of charm, for instance. while we're totally down with playing for 10-20 people (hell, we'll play for you in your "parlor") it makes more sense to play for other local acts' crowds that could potentially be cross-over audience. reciprocity extended when/if they travel this way and we bring our peeps to their show, street team promo them, etc. know what i mean?

i'm open and grateful for any and all ideas/leads/people to connect with that you think are suitable. xo~

One of the bands Jeff (my hubby) has been playing with recently played in Philly. I'll quiz him about it. I'd say maybe they could hook up with you, but I'm not sure that it would be a good match..their name is Sudden Ensemble if you want to check them at my myspace page. At the very least they could put you in touch with potential venues. They also played at Asbury Lanes, which is FRICKING AWESOME. That might be something worth looking into as well. They have an eclectic mix of acts there, and the atmosphere couldn't be better. :)

ashbury lanes rings a bell, i'll look into it. thanks to jeff for the brain-picking, in advance, especially any venue suggestions he can make.

Dear Mary,

I'm glad to hear everything went so well!! (But I didn't really expect otherwise).

On and on towards a world (domination) tour! You must come and play in Amsterdam. Or The Hague. Period.

Love
Vivian

hello, whoever you are!

thank you for your seemingly sincere comments. of course, i have no idea if you really are sincere, since this post is anonymous and your subject line is not related to the subject of my post.

if you have made this post in jest, so be it, but if not, i must rather sheepishly point out that i posted this almost 2 years ago this spring. i was notified of your comment via email. i presently fail at blogging, something i from time to time think about remedying. at some point, i may and you are invited to comment further. thanks again, and if you are indeed interested, you can find us on facebook here: www.facebook.com/thebewitched.
