i doubt i'll ever be done needing encouragement. when i'll have reached a place where it wouldn't fortify me to have friends send texts and e-mails with "knock 'em dead!" or "have a great show!" before i walk my ass out onto a stage. fortunately, i have the most excellent friends and you who read this are some of them ( Read more... ) -

two irreplaceable friends have died this year from cancer. one older than me, one younger. one female and one male. one from childhood, the other adulthood. one nearby, the other miles away. one worked to save lives and the other for the dignity of those lives. one i said goodbye to, the other i did not ( Read more... ) -
