Shouldn't have done that.

So, I shouldn't have looked. I did it because I started hearing that people were able to see what had been denied and accepted "so far," and I wanted to see if any of mine have made it. So far we are 0 for 2 with one more nowhere in the lists.

The discussion you're not seeing is the first round of screening, that takes place on a google doc which isn't publicly visible. If a custom item is not generally agreed to be good/bad in the first round, then it comes out on the list for individual discussion.

Well, IMPO if they are going to tell everyone that they are going to make their discussions public domain and that everything is going to be completely transparent, then there shouldn't be a document that I can't see ( ... )

Do a search for the word 'sincerity' in the grp group and you'll see a reasonably comparable power under discussion. The specific differ, but the gist is the same.

'too broad' is crap and poor game design. If the power only works versus certain types of lie detection then it's worthless, especially once you throw in metagaming. Just like auspex/verdical tongue/revelation etc don't only detect certain types of truths, the devotion doesn't block only certain types of lie detection. It's part of an group of equally broad powers.

You and me both know that Sincerity wasn't going to make it out alive. I knew Monitor Condition wasn't going to make it out alive, but I wasn't expecting that load of crap.

Actually I expected it to get rolled into one generic generic power with all the other lying powers.

I think the general consensus at this moment is that the GRP is stuffed with asshats.
