Yes, you *may* add "Antique Vibrator Repairman" to my list of titles. I know you've been wanting to do that for a while, and now you may. A few months ago, I picked up an antique vibrator which did not run, but today I opened it up, did some work, and now it purrs like a kitten, more than a hundred years after it was made ( Read more... )

hey, thanks!

I found it at this weird shop that sells mostly 1930s subway ads and pictures of Marilyn Monroe from original negatives. The guy who works there is totally weird. I went in with two lovely girls, and his parting shot as we left was quite lewd.

There are still so many I'd like to add to your list of titles. Mmhm.

what you do with the carbon paper is:

1. gently place a white piece of paper on a flat, clean surface

2. gently position the carbon paper (black and glossy side down) on top of the white paper, carefully aligning all edges

3. carefully place another piece of white paper on top of the the sheet of carbon.

Now, write with a pencil or ballpoint on the white paper, pressing firmly. On the bottom sheet of white paper, you'll get a duplicate of any imprint of sufficient pressure.

You can reuse most carbon paper several times.

An original medical vibrator. AND you made it run again. That is incontrovertibly cool.
