I say that to myself when I ride around town looking at all the monstrosities Korean girls are wearing these days, and how dorky and effeminate Korean guys get every year. I once said Korean guys either dress like they've just stepped out of a low-budget nightclub, have been reading Japanese fashion mags ( Read more... )

mokdong? guess you can get your visa renewed real easy.

yeah dudes are really way past the color lotion now these days.

as for herbs, i've found my basil is flourishing, though not bushy enough, one is just one really tall stem. and haven't even tried with cilantro yet, though i've heard it really doesn't do to well. the secret is to get a really big ass deep pot and put one bushy plant in each one. i mean as big as you can fit and get three separate plants. but i recommend picking up basil plants from herbariums or whatever soon. i imagine they'll stop selling them.

Yeah, I live about a block and a half from that place. Sadly I have yet to go get my visa renewed.

Color lotion, jesus christ. That was a low point in the evolution of the Korean male. Unfortunately I was riding the subway yesterday and there was an ad featuring one of the Korean actors wearing a blazer made from what I swear were my mom's old drapes.

Herbariums, got any good ones that aren't in Bumfuck, ROK?

the yangjae 꽃시장 is probably your best bet. but i see basil on occasion in random flower shops as i walk by. it's hit or miss. and the places that carry it dont carry it all the time. but better than starting from seeds.
