Trials And Tribulations.

When is Peeves going to be banished from Hogwarts? He has taken to TORMENTING me whenever I am on my hour break from homework. He sprayed ink at me tonight. SPRAYED INK! And he was shouting about revising the whole time. As a PREFECT of Hufflepuff I deserve respect, and just because he's a poltergeist does not mean he should be able to treat ( Read more... )

Miss too many meals, and you won't have the strength to revise anymore.

At least Peeves waits until you're on your break to bother you, right?

Revising gives me strength, Zach. A meal here and there hardly adds up to anything important, anyway.

It doesn't matter when he does it because it's still happening. If I had been carrying anything important at the time it could have been RUINED.

I think you need a new hobby. And that someone should start making you go to every meal, whether you want to go or not.

What I meant was, at least he bothers you on your break, not while you're revising. I don't think I'd want to be anywhere nearby if he started bothering you then.

First of all, I know you're revising right now. Don't ask how I know these things. Just put the revisions down, there's a good lad, and go and get some fresh air. When you've done that, find some food. Thereafter I expect you in the greenhouse to talk about your study habits. Is that clear?

I suppose it is, Professor Sprout. I just need to finish reading up on my Transfiguration and write a few more notes about Potions and I should be able to take a moment to do what you say. My hour break is only so long, you know. I'll be in the greenhouse in forty-five minutes. I hope you're willing to reconsider.

You'll learn to appreciate Peeves later.

Appreciate Peeves? I don't see how that's possible, especially now that he has taken to tormenting me. I only have a year and half until I leave Hogwarts. I doubt even a decade could get me to like the ruddy poltergeist. I suppose the two of you can relate to one another, though his antics hardly compare to your pranks.
