Talk about bad timing.

After all this time...

Smash Brothers, anyone?

So, I was having some intense stomach pain yesterday. I've had it before, and had about decided to ride it out like I always have in times past. My dad convinced me it was definitely time to go see someone about it.

Long story short, I'm now home from the hospital after having an appendectomy. I'm sore.

I was given a hookah today by a friend, along with some apple shisha. This is probably the best gift ever.

In other news, I have my interview for a promotion to management coming up on the 5th of February. Exciting.

 My computer is on its way from Memphis, TN as we speak.

And it's a Macbook.

The world works in strange ways. I hate it when I realise things too late. But I'm still well-balanced and feeling good, so that must mean that things are good. :-)

Happy  New Year to the those who spent it alone, willingly or otherwise. Watching the clock go from 2359 to 0000, and greeting the change with a mere mental note of remembering to write a different number on their cheques. No clink of champagne glasses or cheers of surrounding people. No drunken phone calls from distant or not-so-distant friends. ( Read more... )
