NOTE: I AM STILL ADDING FICS TO THIS.

because i need a place to put these and i have too many bookmarks.

Mark/Eduardo

title:  the other side (is always greener)
summary: When he's sent to infiltrate human society in order to protect his people, Eduardo meets Mark for the second time, and his instantaneous attachment might cost him everything.
notes: angst. angst. angst. angst. one of those fics where you slowly gain knowledge of the full situation.

title: all our errors on repeat
summary: After Eduardo signs off on the dilution and walks away from Facebook, Mark gradually realizes that he's stuck in an unstable time loop. Not only does he have to figure out how to stop waking up in his Kirkland dorm room, three years ago, but he has to rebuild Facebook while remembering things that never happened and deal with the fact that Eduardo has known about this all along. Not that it really matters: Eduardo leaves and he leaves and he leaves, every single time.
notes: Same author as the one above. More angst. Prepare to scream at the end.

title: everybody knows that you cradle the sun
summary: Eduardo means wealthy guard and Eduarda means wealthy guard. One is masculine and one is feminine. The difference is a single letter, one singular vowel. A pen stroke, subtle enough that it could be mistaken as a twitch, an overreach of movement, the inevitable bleed of fresh ink. (Or: the one where Eduardo is bigender, and Mark loves them.)
notes: More angst. One of my absolute favorites. So beautiful.

title:  let silence talk to itself
summary: Eduardo says nothing, because they're only the half-human children of the gods, and what are those worth? They are what the universe uses to pick its teeth.
notes: A Percy Jackson and the Olympians/TSN AU fic. Pretty pre-slash though.

title: how one thing leads to another, a story of coincidence
summary: At 42, Eduardo Saverin has three things to his name: a plane ticket, one half of a formerly conjugal bank account, and a list.
notes: A beautiful piece about the changes brought on by time and the things unaffected by time. Eduardo's list made me want to cry though.

title:  no wealth and no ruin
summary: In which Mark Zuckerberg gets a job, learns important life lessons, makes friends, finds the love of his life, and dies. Not necessarily in that order.
notes: A Dead Like Me/TSN AU fic. I was emotionally wrecked after this. It's long, too. I stayed up until 5 AM trying to finish this. And no, you don't need to know anything about Dead Like Me to get it.

title: a fellowship to call your own
summary: "'Minion'," goes Mark, looking up at the last second. "It's Slytherin for friend." And, for a beat, Eduardo looks remarkably pleased.
notes: A Harry Potter/TSN AU fic.

title:  five things that never happened to mark zuckerberg
summary: See title.
notes: A Harry Potter/TSN AU fic. Sequel to a fellowship to call your own. The end is absolutely wonderful.

title:  place that don't know my name
summary: Looking up at the mess of stars above New (New New New) Singapore, he stops being Eduardo Saverin, absentee CFO of Facebook, and starts being Eduardo Saverin, time traveling companion to a mad man in a blue box who keeps on calling him Frank.
notes: A Doctor Who/TSN AU fic. There's not much to say. Just read it and prepare to be blown away.

title:  place between here and the destination
summary: You know what's cooler than one million dollars? Eduardo Saverin, time traveler.
notes: A Doctor Who/TSN AU fic. Sequel to place that don't know my name. Keep your tissues handy.

title:  the rules of endogamy
summary: Erica Albright goes to state university. She has four brothers and a green-eyed daemon named Oswald, and it's very hard to get under her skin.
notes: A His Dark Materials/TSN AU fic. Five times Erica Albright is surprised by other people's daemons. Fantastically written.

title:  in grander schemes than this
summary: With a gun to your head and a bomb below your feet, the things that really matter become suddenly, incredibly, undeniably clear.
notes: One of the most emotionally draining and best fics I've read. Seriously. Read this one.

title:  the untitled kept boy fill
summary: At least one of the underage girls Sean brought to the house in Palo Alto was for Mark (Mark's barely an adult himself, right, so he wouldn't really mind if the girls weren't quite 18. Right?). See, Sean figured, if he could get Mark laid on a consistent basis then Mark would be more inclined to let him have a say/position in the company and who they got involved with. But Mark didn't show any interest. So Sean invites his hot, smart, charming, Brazilian friend, Eduardo, over and then - well, Mark shows some interest, then, even if it is just hanging out somewhere besides in front of his computer.
Like Sean, Eduardo moves in.
Like Sean, Mark listens to Eduardo.
Like Sean, Eduardo hangs out at the offices without really doing anything.
Unlike Sean, when things blow up and they all get stupid-rich, Eduardo moves in with Mark. And accompanies Mark to events. And spends Mark's money (not that Mark's doing anything with it).
notes: The actual fill is much more than the summary lets on. LOTS OF SEX. and angst. Keep your tissues close.

title: draw me a map
summary: "Hey, I'll write." The thousands of miles, both literal and figurative, Mark and Eduardo travel and the countless postcards and letters they write over five years as they grow up and towards each other. How do you get yourself back to a place you haven't been yet? "Don't you ever just want to go?"
notes: Absolutely heartbreaking at some points. There was lots of screaming at their ridiculousness in the process of reading this.

title: changing parameters
summary: In the year 2671, Mark is rich, famous and estranged from Eduardo. But none of that matters anymore, because his origin as a man-made android is about to be leaked out to the public.
notes: Why am I so attracted to angst?

title: survival skills
summary: In which Mark's first romantic relationship leaves him reeling. Still, he manages to make some friends in college, and learns some new things, continues on to be a spectacularly bad best friend, and mostly tries to cope all by himself (and is not very good at it).
notes: VERY EMOTIONAL. Lots of angst. Of course. I love this Mark.

title:  feels like we could escape
summary: in which mark decides not to choose between facebook and eduardo, and goes on a multi-national roadtrip instead.
notes: I just absolutely love this Mark. The Mark that actually values Eduardo and Facebook equally if not over Facebook. It's great.

title: on the path unwinding
summary: the one where eduardo turns into a cute zoo animal and mark comes to a realization he needs human eduardo to deal with
notes: So, so, so adorable. A lot less angst, too. The drawings are so cute.

title:  never let eduardo go
summary: Are they really that different? Mark talks to him like he’s a real person, looks at him instead of through him. He’s kind to Eduardo, when no one else is. He listens to Eduardo even when he doesn’t have much to say. Eduardo doesn’t want to complete alone. But Dustin is right, too. An original would never love a donor. If Mark ever found out, everything would be over, and it isn’t fair.
notes: A Never Let Me Go/TSN AU fic. Seriously. Gather all the tissues in your house and keep them close.

title:  mulligan
summary: In which Eduardo discovers he's kind of an asshole, breaks his own heart a few times, breaks Mark's heart, and then has to fix it.
notes: It seems like in most TSN fics, Mark is the asshole, and Eduardo's the victim. In this one however,

title:  i think that i'm cured
summary: Wherein Mark and Eduardo have so much sex that Mark can't stay awake at work, and they are both utter failures at having self-control.
notes: MUCH LESS ANGST YAY. This is just really hilarious. And hot.

title: here comes the sun
summary: This is a story about growing up, sad 70's rock songs, too much hair gel, "Maxwell's Silver Hammer", a baby with curly hair, a Geiger counter, a dog that isn't named Max, the Chicken Dance, Cheerios, pepper-spray, drugs, sex, and a stuffed chicken named Cluckerberg, nicknamed Cluck. or: Mark raises Sean's accidental baby.
notes: So. Cute.

title: if this was the cold war (we could keep each other warm)
summary: Mark is haunting Eduardo, like in an annoyingly literal way.
notes: I just really love this one.

title: what a face to wake up to
summary: Mark gets a Real Doll (that looks like a certain Brazilian fellow we all know) and treats it like it's his boyfriend, bringing it into the office with him and talking to it. Everyone's sort of freaked out and worried but goes along with it, because they're not sure what else to do, until Eduardo steps in.
notes: A Lars and the Real Girl/TSN AU fic. Heartbreakingly sad at points, hilarious at other points.

title:  sweet on you
summary: BAKERY AU. Mark is Mark, Eduardo owns a bakery/café near the Facebook offices. Mark does not have time to have a thing for him, but he totally, totally does. Sadly for Mark's continued enjoyment of a harassment-free existence, Dustin is still Dustin and is entirely devoted to his causes of a) getting Mark laid, b) acquiring all the gossip, and c) acquiring all the baked goods he can. Featuring novelty shaped cookies, frosting in places frosting should never be, and ~feelings~.
notes: The bakery AU. 'Nuff said.

title: what not to do when your boss is dating the guy he had erased from his memory
summary: In which Mark has a new mystery significant other, or so Dustin claims, and there is not enough alcohol in the world to make Chris's life any less stupid.
notes: An Eternal Sunshine of a Spotless Mind/TSN AU fic. Just proof that these two idiots are meant to be and NOTHING CAN KEEP THEM APART EVER.

title:  i know i'm lost
summary: Set in a modern day high school in which Eduardo and Chris are bffs and HIPSTERS!!!1!!!!!!1 Like, the whole nine yards. Chris’ favourite band is Crystal Castles and Eduardo’s is The Black Keys and they wear oxfords and ties and glasses they don’t need and have photowalls and flickrs and go to Coachella together. Talk about how pretentious Conor Oberst has gotten and argue about who the better indie rapper is: Chris likes Kid Cudi, Eduardo thinks his rapping is bullshit and his loyalties lie with OFWGKTA. Mark and Dustin are two lonely nerds who have been pinning after the hipster duo since grade school. It’s their senior year and they want to score. Dustin has a plan: GAIN SOME HIPSTER CRED. Dustin goes full out, changing the way he dresses, starts making Chris mixtapes by googling the words indie song + boyfriend and Mark is a little more subtle, though he stalks Eduardo’s flickr and last.fm to find out what he really likes.
notes: This is just really cute okay?

title: while i wait for wounds to heal
summary: For the prompt  Eduardo/Mark, psychiatric ward at the tsn_kinkmeme. psych ward!AU, following the movie...ish. Eduardo meets Mark at Cambridge General, Ward 16.
notes: Heartbreakingly beautiful. Make sure to read the epilogue!

title: no child of mine
summary: The ridiculously angsty hookerfic of doom. From the  kinkmeme prompt So, Eduardo's father always figured his son was useless. But he is nice to look at and there's some good in that. Cue the idea that he can use Eduardo as a 'sweetener' to close some tricky business deals. He's been doing just this for years when it comes time to close a particularly tricky deal... This story contains: Forced prostitution, rape/revenge, drama, chases/stalking across Europe and Asia, inappropriate humor, lots of angst, socially maladaptive behavior, and eventually, a happy ending.
notes: Very angsty. Very heartwrenching. I don't know why I love fics where Eduardo is damaged goods.

title:  when they open up your heart
summary: for  this prompt. limited-au, mark and eduardo's relationship over the years in a world where people can get a timer which counts down the time until they meet their soulmate, but only if their soulmate has one too. or: eduardo has a timer, mark doesn't, soulmates exist, and boys are silly when dealing with feelings.
notes: My heart literally hurts when I read this. Also, if you are a big stickler for proper capitalization, you might not want to read this. Personally, the lack of capitalization doesn't bother me at all because I'm lazy and often don't capitalize words correctly.

title:  the anatomy of an unfortunate seduction
summary: For  this Redbook prompt on the
tsn_kinkmeme
. Mark getting some ideas from Redbook's Foreplay Tips and Techniques - Foreplay Ideas for Men on how to seduce Wardo.
notes: SO. HILARIOUS. I was guffawing the whole time. And there was LOTS of second-hand embarrassment felt for Mark in this one.

title: in webs and knots
summary: When Mark gets in a car accident Dustin and Chris have to call Eduardo back to California. No, not to play nursemaid. Mark's in a coma, but it turns out that all the code Dustin needs is locked down under a series of passwords that, with Mark out of commission, only Eduardo knows. The passwords are prompted from important moments in the evolution of Mark and Eduardo's relationship, which weave in and out of the movie timeline up until the current day. Contains heavy D/s themes, kink, next to no technical accuracy, and a happy ending.
notes: asjkld;glrjaslkd THIS ONE IS WONDERFUL. along with all the other ones on this list.

title:  can't stop the rain
summary: Eduardo was kidnapped during childhood in Brazil. That's why Papa Saverin packed up and hauled his family to USA. BUT It happened again right after high school. When he was having a graduation trip in Europe maybe? And these guys hurt him badly. That's why he was late getting into Harvard. PTSD.
notes: More damaged goods!Eduardo... I have a problem obviously. Get your tissues ready.

title: splayed in the wind apart
summary: Mark is away on business and Eduardo keeps seeing pictures of him in finely tailored, well-fitting dress clothes. Lots of sex ensues.
notes: Heh.

title:  relationship status: it was always about you
summary: College AU. The one where Eduardo works at the campus coffee shop and Mark doesn't understand the concept of love at first sight. Coffee, code, Facebook and love (not necessarily in that order).
notes: Sometimes I just wish that fics were real life.

title:  for a purpose
summary: Mark draws Eduardo long before he meets him.
notes: Mind-blowing in a way. The plot is almost kind of hard to wrap your head around.. Written very well.

title: cryptography for beginners
summary: A few years after the depositions, Mark sends Eduardo an e-mail. Now Eduardo just needs to figure out what it says.
notes: I just really love this fic.

title: lessons
summary: Eduardo Saverin, junior at a private high school, enters into a less than traditional relationship with his Computer Science teacher Mr. Zuckerberg.
notes: If you haven't read this yet you are a disgrace to the fandom.

title:  whispers in the dark
summary: Summer Camp AU. Mark’s mom sends him to camp to get him out of his room for the summer, and Mark is determined to be miserable the entire time he’s there, but can’t quite swing it once Eduardo enters the picture.
notes: The end absolutely broke my heart. Make sure you read the epilogue!

title: got to stand it
summary: A sort of fusion of Brokeback Mountain and The Social Network that is somehow not entirely similar to either. Or, in other words: an AU where Mark and Eduardo meet the summer before their senior year in high school and start a secret and ill-advised affair.
notes: ANGST. This fic caused me so much distress. But in a good way. I think.

title:  you came along and you cut me loose
summary: Five happy endings Mark and Eduardo never had (and one they did)
notes: I'm a sucker for these fics okay?

title:  (act as if) the world is watching
summary: A lot of things are different from when they did this last. They’re more visible when they go out, now; and when Mark stops them in the middle of the sidewalk and goes up on his toes and kisses Eduardo until they’re panting for breath, he knows there will be pictures online, and his body thrums with the satisfaction of knowing that they will be seen everywhere.
notes: Lotsa public sex.. Be warned.

title: rock-a-bye
summary: Four kids they didn't have and one they did.
notes: Oh my god this fic is perfect. So adorable, so heartbreaking, and so, so, beautiful.

title:  shaped like a question mark
summary: TSN librarian AU! Where Eduardo is a children's librarian and Mark is an information specialist brought in to revamp the catalogue. And along the way there are books! misunderstandings! online reference! romance!
notes: one of the more popular ones that you've probably read a bazillion times.

title:  and everything nice
summary: The one where Mark somehow ends up with a child and of course needs a nanny for the amount of time he spends at the office. Only problem is a string of nannys keep trying to get into his pants for what he assumes is his money. Cue Mark's assistant hiring a male nanny, enter Eduardo.
notes: so freaking adorable. why can't this be real.

title: the years they come and go (but today is here to stay)
summary: Eduardo moves to new york for the summer after his senior year of high school to stay with his estranged father and meets Mark. Sexytimes ensue.
notes: Why is this not real.

title:  never marry for money (you can borrow it cheaper)
summary: Eduardo & Mark have to attend some kind of shareholder's/young-and-a-billionaire's meeting in Vegas/Vermont/Illinois. One thing leads to another and they WAKE UP MARRIED. A quicky divorce/annulment would be easy if not for the fact that Mark drunkenly changed his facebook status to MARRIED TO EDUARDO SAVERIN. Or, Mark and Eduardo get drunkenly married. Chaos ensues.
notes: I really love this one. One of the essentials for the fandom, I think.

title:  bloodbrothers
summary: Set Post-TSN. "Don't make me choose between sanity and you." And his voice is so quiet and he feels so broken and unfixable and raw. "Because I might just pick you." Mark hasn't been handling life without Wardo very well. Too much drinking and coding has somehow led Mark in the hospital.
notes: ANGST. So much angst. It's been a while since I read this one, but I remember being confused afterwards, but in a good way almost.

title:  it catches up with you
summary: After Mark gets kidnapped for ransom by someone who has a beef with Eduardo, he's forced to let Eduardo stay with him to help him. With the depositions still in mind, it's hard for Mark to just let him back into his life, while Eduardo seems to be doing his best to pretend the last couple of years didn't happen.
notes: Ugh. ANGST.

title:  in every line of code
summary:  Mark's parents buy him Eduardo - a state-of-the-art, brand new, tailor made robotic best friend - for his birthday. The only problem is, Mark asked for a laptop.
notes: I spent my morning crying over this. The summary is quite misleading. It is not as dry as it sounds, I swear. Prepare your freaking tissues. YOU WILL CRY AN OCEAN OF TEARS.

title:  touch
summary: Written for the prompt: Eduardo and Mark have hate!sex that isn't sexy at all. I'm talking pain, blood, possibly crying, and probably chock full of trigger warnings. Not really into non-con for this because... I'd also really love (this is what makes it for me) for one to nurse the other back to health. Maybe the hate!sex is their way of working stuff out?
notes: contains possibly triggering violent but consensual sex. This makes my heart hurt okay.

title: i'm under that night (i'm under the same stars)
summary: In all the ways that Eduardo has ever hurt Mark, this has got to be, by far, the worst.
notes: Eduardo develops pancreatic cancer and everything sucks. Um. I cried every single time I read this, no joke. Warnings for major character death.

title: the things we do for love
summary: Mark leans forward. The orange washes out his already pale skin, and his head of curls is a mess; but there’s something so assured about Mark Zuckerberg that not even prison can take that from him. It’s as if he’s so convinced that he is the most brilliant person you will ever meet, he manages to convince everyone around him as well.

Special Agent Hughes,” he says quietly, formally, and something like warning bells begins ringing distantly at the back of Chris’s head.

I have a proposition for you.”
note: THE FUCKING WHITE COLLAR!AU THAT IS BEAUTIFUL AND PERFECT. READ IT NOOOW

Jesse/Andrew

title:  oriented towards the other
summary: Mark's empathy has been blocked off for years, for his own safety as well as comfort. But if he wants to win Eduardo back, he's going to have to embrace his ability and re-learn how to live with other people.
notes: Incredible. Someone explain to me how to write like this. Please.

title:  an apology
summary: Love hurts. It really does.
notes: Major character death. Prepare your heart for the angst and simple beauty that is this fic.

title:  can you hear my hopeful heart
summary: In which everyone thinks Andrew and Jesse are the definition of a lasting bromance (and they aren’t saying otherwise) and the Academy is oblivious to everything.
notes: So funny story. The first time I read this, I was at my dad's place and pretending to do my homework, so I was kind of distracted while I read this, and even then, I thought it was SO GOOD. And then a couple nights ago I decided to reread it at 2 AM and basically, I was sobbing uncontrollably. Cecily's just some kind of genius or something, nbd.

title:  mental illness fill
summary: Jesse is diagnosed with early on set Alzheimer's (it's rare, but possible) and Andrew can only watch as his boyfriend loses his grip on reality.
notes: Can someone just buy me a lifetime supply of tissues or something? This one is absolutely heartbreaking.

title:  not a through street
summary: The air is thick with that familiar city stench; sharp diesel fumes, street vendor meat, smoke, and something metallic like the sea. Andrew breathes it in as he props a cigarette between his lips before cupping his hands around a match. It's not hard to immediately love it here, feel like he's been sucked into a cocoon of light and noise and the strange privacy of this boy. Even Jesse's angular awkwardness is somehow just like Andrew pictured it, wanted it, Jesse tip-toeing around his own apartment like he's afraid of waking someone up.
notes: One that I have to read, too.

title:  shelter
summary: Some sort of AU vaguely based on Shelter! For whatever reason, Jesse has to take care of Hallie and give up his dream of being an actor. He ends up working in a dead end job when former, now successful friend (Andrew) returns home. They fall in love, etc, only Jesse can't go away with him because he has a responsibility to his family. CUE ANGST.
notes: Seven parts. I got through the first couple then ran out of time to finish it! But a lot of people love it.. So.

title:  make me end where i begun
summary: AU. The one where Andrew has been in an abusive relationship and Jesse isn't sure about a lot of things, but is really sure about Andrew.
notes: This one broke my heart. Lots of angst... kind of.. It's a different type of angst, I think.

title: the giraffe notes
summary: The impossible love story of a mouse and a giraffe featuring a crush that last a decade, a very grateful movie star, the fine art of falling in love over the internet, a possibly naughty tattoo, three awesome friends, cats, nerves, and a spectacular first date.
notes: One of the cutest, fluffiest, best fics of this pairing. I read it when I'm feeling bad.

title:  a contemporary study of the minor romantic poets
summary: A college AU in which Andrew wants to date the wrong person, Jesse has a boring boyfriend, and Justin is a surprisingly good roommate.
notes: adorable.

title:  all the stars and bleeding hearts
summary: Notting Hill AU. In which Jesse runs a bookstore, Andrew is a famous film star and they’re both faily dorks in love.
notes: If you read this and fail to flail over the perfection that is this perfect fic, I will judge you in every single way possible.

title: eisenbooks
summary: An AU in which one person runs a bookshop, and the other becomes a regular customer. Flirting, romance, etc. follows!
notes: Jesse is absolutely hilarious in this. I was laughing so hard because he is just so ridiculous.

title:  my first kiss (went a little like this)
summary: Jesse didn’t expect their first kiss to go like this.
notes: Absolutely adorable. The most diabetes-inducing thing ever.

title: nowhere else on earth that i would rather be
summary: This is an AU where TSN never happened and Andrew, Jesse, Justin and Emma all happen to live in the same building in New York.
notes: The parallels with real life are astounding. I don't want to give away what happens, but it's kind of scary how accurate one aspect of this is. And this was written before it actually happened okay? WEIRD STUFF.
