A year ago I found out that I have dangerously low HDL levels. My HDL was 36, and it should be at least 50 (really healthy people have as high as 80 or 100). In the last year, I have improved my diet, have lost 30 pounds, etc etc. My HDL is now 37. One point is practically negligible, and really I should have improved more over the last year.
