So I’m meant to write in this thing and other people can see it? It’s pretty cool, if a little unconventional. Not that I actually have any kind of starting point to compare it to, so maybe it’s just me

Nice to meet you Cara, if you can call this that. And I believe you. I was warned about the third floor and told there were other 'strange things'. What else is there, if you don't mind providing some examples?
I wouldn't be surprised if we met in-person soon. Meeting through writing isn't so bad though.

That's one of them, although I liked the hot cocoa rain better. We also get stuck in weird clothes sometimes and earlier this month singing mannequins followed us around.
This is kind of weird, but the guy who greeted me confused me for you at first. Apparently we look exactly alike. Thought we might want to meet and [A pause]
I don't know. I'm kind of making this up as I go along.
[There is a long pause as Gene scrambles to find a certain notebook and compare the writing there. Yup, confirmed. The first couple of things he writes are almost immediately scribbled out.]

You wanna know about this place? Be on the lookout for unusual things falling from the sky. Champage rain. I'm just saying.

Why were you told to meet Gene?

[He, too, pauses for a moment]
Apparently, we look exactly alike. Figured I should look into that ASAP. Do you know him?

Exactly alike?
We are [pause] friends, and both scavengers--but I see he has seen your entry himself.

Also, mind if I ask your name?
