I'm already searching for common room furniture (couch, kitchen table and chairs, etc)... But we don't have an extra bedroom set, and since we don't have long-term tenants set up, we don't have their bedroom furniture.

How furnished do you need? Would a full-size futon suffice in lieu of a bed? Because then I could just repurpose it as a second couch afterwards. And how large a dresser (The room has not large, but deep closet)? I've had my eye on a small Ikea dresser that matches my current bedroom set, that I was planning on keeping linens and other overflow in. I could put it in the second bedroom, and then add it to my bedroom set after.

Let me know what your furnishing needs are, and I'll see what I can do. I'm planning on asking the current tenants if they are looking to sell any furniture, which might also help.

John posted the pictures, but he didn't make the album public. I can send a link after he does that.

The bedroom with the green walls would be mine and John's.

Jen, that seems perfect. A futon for a bed would be ideal. As soon as I see the place in person, I'd be willing to give the landlord (or you, though I'm big on having the reason I'm giving this to you in writing so that I'm protected) a check for $600, provided, of course, that I actually like the place, which I think I will.

Hi Jen,

I am waiting to hear back from one particular potential living situation, but if that falls through, I might be interested in this -- I'm looking for a place starting in September. I don't know if I'm going to be able to make the decision quickly enough for you (it depends on a number of variables for me) but please keep me in the loop while you're still looking for someone.
