One of my Canadian friends recently informed me that when you give blood in Canada, you get donuts (from Tim Hortons, a chain founded by a hockey player, to be precise). I am seriously considering a trip to Canada for this very purpose.

Tim Horton's: not worth going to Canada for.

I think that was an early rejected slogan.

You can hit a U.S. location instead. Assuming you want your doughnuts from a place that serves sandwiches...

But since Tim Hortons was founded in Canada and is fairly pervasive throughout the country, I am sort of required to go to Canada to have them, donut culture enthusiast that I am. Giving blood to get them just makes it even better.

Plus I like Canada and would go anyway.

Hmm, perhaps with the new U-Haul plan, it's better to leave it packed so I can have smoothies in Providence! I can just buy them from that place on Broadway in the meantime.

Oh, I love top pot! Order the pink boa! because then they all yell "PINK BOA" when they serve it to you. It has pink icing & coconut on a cake donut (delish!) Love it!
