• Handheld mixer
• Hand mixer/blender/grinder with multiple attachments

'Large crock pot' - does this mean a large casserole dish which can be used both on a gas stove top, and inside an oven?

...Please!

handheld mixer and hand mixer thingy have been duly reserved for you. I think the language barrier has struck again-- crock pot= slow cooker (4.5 quart size, I think)- Ceramic and sits on counter and lovely for cooking roasts and stews/soups and having them happily ready when you return after a hard day (Can you tell I love these?). I broke the lid and repaired w/ super glue and have used many, many times since with no problems at all (the heat is not hot enough to melt the glue). If you want a non-ghetto lid, it's 9.99 from the website- I can show you. Let me know. I have another BBQ that weekend, but perhaps I can do 2 this one at about 4 and that at about 7 (since we have 4 grills?)-- hmmm....

I've wanted a slow cooker for simply ages - yes please!!!

Two barbecues in one day shows a laudable dedication to pleasure which I'd previously suspected in you, but only now seen confirmed.

Slow cooker is yours (sorry, swiftangel-- jhg won the 'race online to get the slow cooker game'). Thanks for the compliment-- with that kind of encouragement I might just become a hedonist yet. I'll post the proper BBQ invite later in the day.

The filing cabinet sounds good - how big is it?

Good to hear from you, I was wondering how you were! Could be free for a Sunday afternoon BBQ or something before the 26th...

Hiya!

I am indeed doing well (although I hate moving with a passion!). The filing cabinet comes to waist level on me so is likely about 1.5-2 metres (sorry, no measuring tape) high. The three drawers are equal size and quite deep so each could easily accommodate full- or oversize files. It has a few scratches, but still looks good (and useful lock for Holly's future exploations- lol).

As for the BBQ, a Sunday afternoon sounds lovely. jhg mentioned that the weekend of 15-17 July looked doable, so what do you think about the afternoon of the 17th?

btw, do you fancy being a groundling with me at the tempest at the Globe sometime in the next couple weeks?

Cool, we'll have the filing cabinet then please!

17th is good for us. But not on for Globe I'm afraid, I can't stand up for that long. :)

You are the proud new owner of a child-proof filing cabinet :-). Yeah, I understand about the Globe- I'm not sure how long I can stand either!

Can I get the blender/liquidizer?

Also, if you still have the v-shaped pillow left on your picking list by the time you go, I'll take that too... but, if someone else wants it, they can have it (it's one of those things that I'd "kinda like" rather than "desperately want" so if someone does "desperately want" then they can have!

How wide is the 5 shelf bookcase? I doubt I'll have room for it, but if it's tall and skinny I might be able to squeeze it in somewhere.

And as for the screening, yes, comments automatically unscreen when you reply to them, but you can rescreeen immediately by clicking on the picture of the eye in amongst the comment options (where you can click to delete the comment, etc.)

The blender now belongs to you!! Let me know when you fancy getting it (I may be having a BBQ Sunday afternoon 17 July if you fancy that).

The bookshelf is about 1-metre wide- big but useful!

Thanks for the help on the unscreen thing, so I can use that if anyone is embarassed about their desire for kitchen supplies...

See you soon!

Good, hope that the two don't conflict (and that it doesn't rain!)

jhg put out a feeler, but I don't know if he wanted it or not. If he doesn't, it's yours. I must warn you that the lid looks ghetto as it broke (2 big peices) and I glued it back-- I've used it many, many times since with no problems. If you want a non-ghetto lid, you can order one for 9.99 (I can show you where). So, hopefully jhg will see this and reply- if no, I'll track him down. Then, if you still want it with the ghetto lid, it's all yours!

I don't have any other plans for the 17th, so I'm free. :)
