...to the lovely indefatigable42 for the sandwich toaster turnover suggestion. I tried it last night with a mix of apple and blackcurrant pie fillings. They were lovely! I decided they would be best served hot off the toaster with vanilla ice cream and a drizzle of strawberry sauc on top. They were very yummy indeed. :)

When I lived in the US, especially Boston and New York, I was used to temperatures in the 90s and even low 100s with very high humidity during the summer. I would read posts from my UK friends complaining about how horribly hot it was when the weather pixies said it was only 75 degrees with 70% humidity. Last Friday, one of the Credit Control women came down to ask us a question. While here, she told us about a complaint call she had recieved from a customer. The customer claimed that she wished to lodge a complaint because her photocopier swore at her.
