I'm not sure when I'll next be in Boston. The only trip I might make over for the rest of this year would be to visit my family either in the fall or winter, but that's Ohio. I would *like* to make Arisia, but it's only a couple of weeks before the Gallifrey convention in LA, which is a slightly higher priority. I'm not sure I could afford both, let alone that my body could deal with that many trans-Atlantic flights that close together.
I will certainly let you know when I'm likely to be in the Boston or NYC area again, and Glasgow isn't all that far from here so we might be able to work something out if I have enough notice and can arrange a day off work. :)
Some people find that eating locally-produced honey is a good safeguard against hayfever. See if there's a local farmers' market or craft market to you that sells it?
Apparently the pollens in it help you build up an immunity.
The owner is a bit of a cleanliness nazi. If the place isn't up to her standards, we can get thrown out because it technically is her primary residence. I think this mainly applies to furnished places, but I could be wrong.
