The city of West Hollywood passed an ordinance legalizing the possession of small amounts of marijuana. Woot! It's about freaking time. I dont even smoke the shit but I firmly believe in the legalization of it. Go after the tweakers and leave the stoners alone, man

The problem with that is, the Feds have never recognized local laws about pot - not even in other countries. The president of Mexico tried to decriminalize small amounts of pot, and the US feds (what business was it of theirs), told him to reverse his decision, so he backed down. He was probably threatened from what I could tell

Yeah, it's amazing to me how people always tend to forget that the social economy and the ecosystem have something of a sembiotic relationship. But you have to take care of the ecosystem, not just rape it. Or else, it will disapear.

Hell we are all going to end up living in a damn moon colony before long anyways, lol.
