So I went in to work this morning, and this is what I found:

They ended up delaying and delaying the park opening, and finally decided to just never open for the day. But I got paid anyway. Good times! :)

I am so super bummed about the Back to the Future set!!!!!

It's okay; the set hasn't really looked like Back to the Future in awhile. It's been used on a bunch of other movies and TV shows since then.

Wow...is everyone ok? Does this mean you're out of work for a bit?

The fire happened in the very early morning, so no one was hurt except for some minor injuries to a few firefighters. But a 3-city-block section of the studio backlot was destroyed. It doesn't really affect me, since I work in the upper lot, away from the damaged area. The park is back up and running, except for a portion of the studio tour which now will go a different way.

I like how your photostream has a picture of me in my boar face looking on aggressively at the smoke. It's about right, I think.
