I was hoping to not have to do this so soon, but I think that it is time to address a few things.

I am thrilled this community is getting more traffic, as I am sure that the other mods and maintainer/s are. BUT, and there is always a but.....

I understand a lot of this is coming out of a reaction from the post in fatshionista. It took us all by surprise.

Hey hon, just wanted to make sure you saw delicatetbone's earlier mod post asking us to join inbetweeniemods. We were discussing many of the things you brought up here, among other things. Thanks for this post; I hope it can be a feedback forum for what people might like to see here.

I also think it might be nice to do a mods intro post at some point since there are undoubtedly new members who have no idea who we are. :)

and more than a little bit crazy in the other comm i mod this time of year. ;p being santa's elf in december kinda takes up massive time. i answered 100 letters alone yesterday, and had to deal with one, well, i really don' want to talk about the other one the day the fats post went down, but that might explain why i have just been doing instead of what i should have been doing. it's been a rough week.

I actually have just joined but have two things I noticed:

#1- the user info quotes sizes 12-20 in the "Name" section but in the "Description" is says 12-18. I only note it as I'm a 18/20 but I doubt there would be a ruckus.

#2- could we please have some sort of rule on tags? Fats drives me batshit with all the people that have requests about something that's been covered to death in the last month and I often find myself going to link them to the relevant tag only to find that the most recent entries were never tagged. Perhaps not an issue here now, but perhaps a good routine for people to get into for when this place grows even more.

I am officially noting the discrepancy in sizing; for the record, I am fairly certain the guideline should read 12-20 in both places.

I will also talk with the other mods regarding tags. This is the first comm I have been a mod in (on?), so I am unclear about how hard this would be to enforce.

Thanks for the noting the discrepancy.

And I'm not certain about how to enforce tags either as I think it all depends upon how y'all decide to moderate. At fats where posts have to actively be approved by a mod, I can't think it takes that long to scroll or glance down to say "okay, it has at least one tag, approved" or "nope, no tag, try again".

That said when I'm bored or need a break from what I'm doing I find myself tagging at fats, but it gets old after the third page or so.
