Recycling Facility tour

Today our Solid Waste class went on a field trip to the Somerset County Materials Recycling Facility. It was COOL! And, it was exactly like what we were taught in class. Now that's satisfying. Although the place smelled because it was right next to the wastewater treatment plant

I don't understand. Most plastic bags are #s 1 or 2.

Yeah, but they're "film plastics," which means they're really thin and they can't use them in remanufacture. I should edit that to say, "plastic BOTTLES." Thanks.
