The Trip Reaches Its Final Legs To Get Home

WOODBRIDGE, VAThroughout my trip planning, one thing has been bothering me about the way home. When I went to the Archives in 1989, the Constitution and Declaration of Independence were in a large hall near the entrance. There was also an exhibition of the Magna Carta, on loan from the British Museum (or maybe it was the British Library, whichever holds the Magna Carta). The three rocks upon which our government and legal system are based. It was quite impressive to see. And the place was almost totally empty that day.

The Magna Carta is still there right near the displays. It's probably all in the same place, I just wound my way through the exhibits to get there.

Glad you enjoyed your trip! You certainly had good weather.

My dog loves Congressional Cemetery, and so do I! Nice peaceful views.

I work next door to the LoC, and yet never go in there. I should sometime.
