I decided to take an LJ break in the wake of the elections. It was only supposed to be a week, but ended up being a month instead. I'm thinking of paring down the f-list, mainly getting rid of those that don't post, but we'll see. Regarding the Rally for Sanity
Now I'm all for anything that energizes the under-40 crowd to be involved and get out to vote, so I'm not criticizing the rally for sanity/fear in theory. I'm always so late with my news
Last Thursday, I bought a 10-game pack for the upcoming Blue Jackets season. I'm now a "season ticket" holder. This makes me more happy that is reasonable.
I should scan the patch that came in my kit and post the image. Or take a pic of it with the webcam. Something.
First game on the package is the Philly game on the 25th. So psyched -

Did a hike today to scout the full length of one of the local paved bike/hike trails. 5.7-ish miles in total. And I neglected to take water with me. Heard a hurricane report on the radio while passing a theatre with a sign reading "Zombie Alert Level Orange" today. It caused this thought in my warped mind.
