Starting in Round 20, the meme will be open to reposting old prompts.

Yay! Looking forward to it. :)

Morning Mods,

Have you heard about AO3, Archive Of Our Own?

They are here: http://archiveofourown.org

The site's structure is different from LJ and DW. It's like fanfiction.net with heavy emphasis on tags. Tags detail the fic's ships, warnings, etc. The site has several different features i.e. an author can gift a story, a work import feature, users can download the work as a ebook, fanart support, stories can be a part of a series (collection of fics), challenge support, podfic support, a work can have co authors, etc.

AO3 is in beta and currently expanding. The site may be down due to too many users at times though.

I don't know if you already considered it. I'm just putting it out there.

Have a good day,

From avid fanfic reader

this is late, but the problem with A03 is that it is not a forum like this one where one can post anonymously (everyone who wants in on a beta still needs to wait weeks to a month to get approval) there are already authors who deanon and post at A03, but what about those who don't want to be public? The bigger issue though is that there isn't a community option there for people to post requests, unless the mods were to abuse the story posting system and host each post as a chapter of a story. But the archiving system wouldn't apply to the comment fics, and neither would the exporting system. A journal format, i think, works far better for a kinkmeme.

Yay for re-posting old prompts!

And I'd love it if this meme moved to dreamwidth. seems happy there.

Hi mods, will you be moving the kink meme over to dreamwidth in light of the new 4 April 2017 ToS?
