I find it hard - and excruciating - to believe that House, a made-up, written, melodramatic, hyperbolic misanthrope, has an easier time talking to people than I do. But then, characters are written to be easier and more able than human beings.

It kind of gives me a thrill to think that he took photographs of the likes of Marlon Brando, Orson Welles, Ella Fitzgerald, Laurence Olivier, John Gielgud, F. Scott Fitzgerald...
