co-ops are really fabulous and exciting parts of community... i say go for it if you can afford to, or maybe have a few people chip in or something? don't make it so it makes you go broke, or you'll resent it and it won't be as much fun. i'm a bit the same way wiht my distro, it's thrilling but i have to make sure i don't throw too much money of my own into it, as tempting as it can be sometimes. xoxo

i am car-less, but generally have access to decent amounts of money at any given time that i'd put toward such a cause ...

everybody else is talking about the co-op, so I have to say that if you get down to the cabin, I'll meet you there on my scoot - I've been meaning to take a long ride. Can't drive you there, but I would love a rad excuse like swimming in a cold river with a rad guy like yo'self to get me on the road...
