[…This was unexpected. After trying to figure out just where she was for a little while, Nunnally came to the conclusion that she had absolutely no idea. This wasn’t anywhere that looked even familiar to home

[ it takes him exactly five minutes after seeing this to actually respond, remembering that his suit is in the fucking washing machine and his mask is so far in his closet (piled under everything and anything he and Schneizel could possibly bury it under); and, it's incredibly inconvenient to only put on the mask and still look like 'Suzaku' no matter what.
and so he answers as 'Suzaku'. For Lelouch, he will bear with this for a little bit longer. ]
It's no trouble at all, Empress. [ a beat. ] You're in a place called Somarium.
[ he'd welcome her but he doesn't think it'd be a very... welcome sort of welcome. dry and artificial at most, because he wants her in Britannia, not... not here in this place. not entirely anyway, but he'd be lying if he said he wasn't happy (relieved) to see her. just like he was happy (relieved) to see Schneizel. ]
Somarium isn't in Britannia. It's... [ how does he word this? it came so easy when he was telling everyone else, but... with Nunnally, it's a little less easy. It's only been... around four months he believes? since he last seen her.
(and he almost hopes Schneizel doesn't notice she's here. but, ah, wishful thinking, and Suzaku will never be given the grace of a granted wish.)
but, after several moments he continues. ]
It's a dream world. Or, a world of dreams- depending on how you want to look at. [ and then a small gesture forward. ] The device you're using is for communication as you know. It can also broadcast dreams.
You remember my voice, I wasn't expecting that. It's been some time since we last folded cranes. [her voice is gentle for a moment before--]
We aren't. You can call it a World of Dreams. [voice wry, yellow eyes not unkind] Someone familiar is coming to get you right now, you should stay where you are.
Ah...I do thank you for your time, though. [There's a small smile, masking more confusion. Either Suzaku hadn't...met Kyouya before, or he's not going by Zero here.
Maybe she'll just go with the first theory.] Someone told me that this place is a dream world...is that true?
[Not that she doubts Suzaku, it's just that she's hoping for a little bit more information.]

[After Clovis' arrival, seeing another of his siblings doesn't surprise him much - and at least Nunnally was alive, not some restless ghost. The sound of her voice is met with an almost jaded sort of resignation, as if this, perhaps, was unavoidable. (Lelouch is here, after all.)
But there is something that really snares his attention, widening his eyes and parting his lips in a minute show of shock.
[He barely saw her, after Marianne's death, before she disappeared, into exile and (perhaps, he suspects) security along with Lelouch. He did not live for years with a blind and crippled sister - only the imprint of her on his memory.
He thinks of Lelouch, then, of how he'll take this, but the train of thought is short lived.
The magnitude of this one change is not lost on him. For all he had to look on her as a tool, she remains his youngest sister, and he is very, very aware of this as he looks at her, listens to her.
But he must be pragmatic, must consider her words. 'Zero', she says, and that one word once again carries so much with it. He understands that she doesn't come from the Damocles, as he did. She doesn't come from hiding. No. She comes from a throne, from a time when Zero (Suzaku, he thinks) was an ally and he...
He was an advisor, an attendant, a (mindless slave) confidante
( ... )
[His expression is one of faint surprise and a deeper sort of understanding, a small smile playing on the corners of his mouth.
He says nothing of Zero, nothing of the future or the past or the uncertain present. His voice hovers between amicablilty and concern, impeccably brotherly.]
It seems this place has a growing fondness for our family.
[The voice is not familiar to him, but the face is. His eyes widen for a moment before his face breaks out in a wide smile. Nunnally -- his darling little sister. It had been so long since he had seen her. Clovis lets out a breath as he realizes that becoming too overtly excited without only embarrass her. One must keep proper appearances, as his hands settles over his heart to calm its beat, yet he cannot stop his smiling. She is alive and well just as Lelouch is. Their family is coming back together, again. He could not be happier.
This place truly is one made of dreams.]
Nunnally. You're all right. I'm beyond overjoyed...!
[...Even though she was warned, it still doesn't soften the surprise on her face as she sees Clovis. Her hands loosen on the Dreamberry, but she's determined not to drop it completely. If she drops it, if it falls off her lap, it'll be a trick to get it back again.
Not only was Clovis alive, that meant Lelouch was--]
Clovis. [The word comes out on a sharp exhale. She swallows, trying to make the lump in her throat go away, but it doesn't exactly help.] Is that really you?
[Her voice comes out in a whisper, though she already knows it's him. It doesn't make it any easier to believe, however.]
[He cannot keep the warm feeling from his heart at seeing her. His hand raises to lightly touch the side of his face, at his eyes. It would not do to start crying where everyone could see it. It would be more embarrassing to his little sister. He is the older brother and should act properly.]
I cannot imagine who else it could be. [A soft sigh.] Can I ... can I see you in person, Nunnally?
[Dumbfounded, that probably describes her expression very well right now. Also, she may look like she's seen a ghost, because in a way...she is seeing one.]
...You're right. Excuse me. [Does he not know he's...?
That question. She blinks, and smiles just a little.] I would...very much like to see you in person, Clovis.

Though, his appearance does confuse her a little. Combined with him calling her "Empress", she's unsure as to what exactly is going on.]
Somarium? That doesn't sound like any of the places I've studied at home.
[Hold on, she's going to stay confused for a minute on this subject before even moving on to Suzaku himself.]

Nunnally. Or is it Your Majesty, now? [her voice is soft, she never had any qualms with the girl]
This place is Somarium.

...C.C., am I right? [A beat.] Yes, I am now Empress of Britannia.
[There's another pause, and she shifts just slightly.] We're not at home anymore.
[She's saying it mostly for her own benefit, right now.]

Schneizel.
[Her eyebrows pull together once again, as if it hadn't been happening enough since she came here.]
What do you mean? There are others here?
