You are SO RIGHT about the CW promos. It's why I initially avoided Vampire Diaries, because the promos made it look ridiculously cheesy and Twilight-y. But as we both know, the show is much, much more than that. Hmm, perhaps I'll start Nikita too.

Somebody needs to fire the promo department because they suck. I like how they always advertise TVD as "SEX! ALL ABOUT THE LOVE TRIANGLE! TWILIGHT!" When 80% of the show is Damon ripping out hearts. Pfft.

Give Nikita a try. It surprised me in a really good way.

I really loved the movie, so I'm definitely not watching the TV show. It was an old French movie, from the period when Besson was still good~~

I can't really compare the two because the television show is different. On the show, Nikita is a rogue agent bent on taking down Division (the organization she used to work for.) I've already seen the movie, and I like both Nikitas.

Yeeeees. Nikita and Alex are both very awesome. :-D I always ignore the CW promos and leave it to my flist to let me know if I should be watching something.

(Also, not to devalue Nikita's superior asskicking skills, but Michael secretly doesn't want to take her down, because he luuuuvs her. I have seen concrete proof. A scene from a future episode. On Youtube. But it got taken down. :-( )

Oh, I know that Michael is a bit wibbly for her, but all of Division is just incompetent when it comes to Nikita and it makes me gleeful. She's just that badass.

oooh Nikita! :D I watched like..5 episodes and then stopped watching because I had things going on and never got back to it, but it's a good show and I'm planning on catching up as soon as I'm done with V :D

and yea. CW SUCKS at promos. Especially for Vampire Diaries.
