Perhaps you'd like to tell me your understanding of this situation then. I'm well aware of where Leo is. He reassures me almost daily that he is safe, on the rare occasions that he calls. Perhaps you'd like to tell me what it was that I was supposed to do, since you know so much about my life. Perhaps you'd like to tell me what I should have done when Leo called me a month ago and said I shouldn't come to Texas to see him, that he wanted me out of his life. I will forewarn you, that while I have enough respect for Daniel to keep things on a certain level of civility in his journal, I have no such qualms on my own. Perhaps you should ask Leo what it is that he thinks of our time together. I've never kept him from his family, nor avoided them (I skipped Thanksgiving with my family to spend it with his, and spent most of the Christmas holidays with his family, bought gifts for all of them ( ... )

Well then, I applaud your level of defensiveness, to bring it all the way over here, and I apologize if some of my accusations hit a little too close to home. And no, I don't feel that Daniel really needs to be brought into this. He's free to comment here if he wishes, just as he's free to discuss things with me on AIM or through email if he wants. I don't feel the need to justify any of this through him, but if you do, please, feel free. I've never asked his permission to comment on people's behavior before, nor will I start now ( ... )
