Northampton Pride is always so much fun! It's all puppies and babies and coupled lesbians and ecstatic teenagers! Who cares about salamander speciation? Not I, said the little tie-dyed Abby. I think that Professors with obscure biological interests should not subject their students to 26-page papers about minute biological differences between animals who live all the way across the country.

Can it be my senior banquet tomorrow? I am going through wills that I must pass on (I seem to have a lot of them). I can't believe that I will be up there tomorrow, passing on the things that meant so much, and still bring back memories of special people.

I am feeling really good now as a result of getting my powerpoint presentation done, preparing for it with a bunch of my house, and making hamantaschen. I forgot how much I love hanging out in the living room with people from my house. I am going to miss this community so much. Challah to my Peeps shirts are going nicely as well. And the stressed is back with a vengeance. My research is interesting. I like my topic. But I am really feeling the time crunch, which is unusual for me (usually I don't really have a time crunch.) I'm going to try working somewhere else I think. Maybe that will help.

I'm counting on yesterday's sunshine to ride me through today. Last night I took my prospie to the open mic in the Wesley basement, where I'd never been. A new group of people--it was a blast. Boy the weather's great! A package from Angela made me smile big, as did eating lunch outside with Sarah. And maybe, just maybe, evolution is going to be okay. In general, I am feeling more in control today, which is good.

Love Girlyman. Not so into anthropology. Hate procrastinating. Kind of hate weekends at Smith. But Girlyman, so so good. Almost as good as your mom last night.
