Just checking in from India. I have now been here for a little over three weeks and I can't believe it! It feels like I have already been here for 3 months. I feel as if I am adjusting pretty well to my new environment...not too much culture shock. It's funny that most of my annoyances here are directed towards the group that I came here with and

When I come home I'm never going to eat anymore rice or potatoes for a seriously long time. I could never imagine anyone living on the atkins diet here.

atkins diet is on the way out, carb free is beginning to fade now. general mills cereals just basically backlashed by starting a "whole grain" campaign. It's kind of funny, because you feel like health stuff should be a "truth", but when you see that it's just a marketing fad it just makes you wonder about the veracity of health information
