At last...
So - 4th quarter 2014 can suck it, and good riddance to it. That being said, brightness began to return with the safe birth of the latest g-kid, and the safe separation of D and pack from an inhospitable domestic situation. Rear-ended at high speed at 12:15 AM this morning. Car is a total loss, but everyone was able to walk away. Gorramit. -
Goodbye, Walker
We lost Walker (Walks In Snow, Empress Walker), our long-haired tuxedo last night. She was 15, so not entirely unexpected. We always thought her brother Fuzz would go first, but life has its own surprises. We wanted her to be at home, with family - I'm waiting for the cremation service to come pick her up now. -

Shoes.
I woke up in a great mood this morning, after having a great day yesterday. Then I started processing the news. Now - I'm looking at shoes. Just shoes. That's about the only thing I can find right now that doesn't feel like arsenic for the spirit. -
