So, been up here with Travis in Oak Harbor, WA for a while. It's been good, and relaxing. It's felt really good for me to be here. The first weekend up here we went down to Seattle to visit Kevin and oneirus. Kevin and oneirus and I hung out and went to the Space Needle and stuff like that while Trav went skydiving with some buddies nearby. So that was fun

Are there any loose ends you could tie up from here, either by telephone, email, fax, or regular mail? Perhaps that would help you feel both more on top of things, more able to process what remains, and like you're not doing it alone. If your support system up here helps, then by all means use them!

As an aside, while I knew you were coming up this way, I didn't realize you'd been in Oak Harbor. Have you made it any further South on Whidbey Island? That's my stomping grounds, although I don't live there anymore. I moved to the suburbs east of Seattle a few months back. Whidbey is a wonderful place for the spirit!

I don't know how much of the major stuff I can take care of over the phone from here, but I can try. Some stuff, like talking to my landlady, I really prefer to do in person.

Haven't really ranged too far from here on Whidbey... mostly just that one weekend trip to Seattle. But it's good to hear the positive vibe recommendations on Whidbey Island from someone else who's been here awhile! Thanks. :)
