I'm in a living situation that's as close to ideal for me, for the moment, as I believe I can get. It's helping, and it's working. I just hope it'll be enough to get me to where I need to be, by when I need to be there. Where I need to be is "independently functional and motivated", and when I need to be there is "by the time Travis is deployed

So what happened to you?? Did you ever move in with Travis?

Hiya. Yeah, I was living with Travis when I originally wrote this entry, and I was able to stay at his place while he was overseas, although I wasn't at the level of independent functionality that I was shooting for when I wrote this entry originally. I guess it was enough, though, what with me still being alive and all. It wasn't a very productive or fulfilling time, but I guess the downtime sort of helped me get some distance from a few things. I didn't think I was going to be able to get myself a new place to stay when Trav and I had to move out at the end of last month, when Trav moved on to his next post. But I surprised myself by actually pulling it off, and I now have a studio apartment in Seattle, in the university district. I really like the neighborhood, and hopefully this'll be a place with more opportunity to grow and get strong enough to move forward to whatever comes next. It's got potential
