almost there... oriori1 January 14 2004, 07:56:14 UTC
hi.

i just went through the same thing in september. it sucked and i always felt like i was getting screwed. and a week after it was over i was seeing only problems. but by now i've fixed a few things MY WAY and had some enjoyable days in the meadow (see pics) and the monthly payment is easily affordable. everything is great. i am very happy. so, yes, the buying process sucks, but as long as you end up w/ an affordable, fixable, enjoyable place you can be very happy afterwards.

which brings us to the question of why do we need a space to call our own? some combo of cultural (individual as opposed to group ownership) and genetic circumstances. i guess the question is does one feed the other or do both feed each other. hmmm...

anyhoo, good luck. remember nietzche, if it don't kill ya, it just makes ya stronger.

its not so much that i can call it my own, as much as its that, within reason, i won't have to move anytime soon.

that's a very nice meadow. i'll shall have to come see for myself someday, tho' :]

thanks for the encouraging words -- my offer was accepted, so in about a month or so, it should be finishing up...
