So I received a random call from "Smart Tech" and then what sounded like "21" after (Smart Tech 21?). It's a recruiter. Anybody heard of these people? They apparently already talked to a MS hiring manager and are pretty positive about my resume and chances for temp-to-perm.

Sounds a lot more optimistic than the other recruiters so far.

Just got off of a phone interview with Matrix RP (staffing firm) and they were offering entry level software development at $17-$20/hour.

Really? I mean really? Everybody I know in my classes that has been hired recently have all started at or around $60k/year. $20/hour barely gets to $42k.

Is this what I should expect from staffing firms?
